Basic Knowledge of Welding Fumes That You Can't Ask Now

[Information] A clear explanation of the definition of welding fumes and their classification as specific chemical substances.

"While legal revisions necessitate measures, progress is often hindered by cost issues. Additionally, completely enclosing a room with a dust collection system can negatively impact work efficiency." Do you have similar concerns? This document explains the interpretation of regulations related to local dust collection systems and the necessary measures. It also introduces the portable dust collector "FBM Weld Filter Unit Series," which can operate without the need for exhaust piping work. We encourage you to read it. [Contents (partial)] ■ Definition of welding fumes ■ Definition of arc welding ■ Positioning as a specific chemical substance (Article 2 of the Specific Chemical Substance Hazard Prevention Regulations) ■ Regulations on welding fumes as a special chemical substance ■ Introduction of YAMADA local dust collection devices *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Easy to clean! Portable local exhaust dust collection system 'Portable HT System'

For risk management of chemical substances! Easy cleaning and cleaning evaluation without tools! Compact and portable. Ideal for dust collection near dust generation sources to prevent the spread of highly active substances!

The "Portable HT System(R)" is a local exhaust and dust collection device that addresses the challenges of local exhaust and dust collection, which are typical measures on-site, and reduces risks. Because it is mobile, it can capture highly active substances close to the dust generation source. Additionally, it achieves risk reduction during exposure with its uniquely developed filter replacement method "Flow-In Flow-Out" and "Wet Open Change." 【Features】 ■ Mobile ■ Easy to clean ■ Compact with high airflow ■ Reduced risk during maintenance ■ Modular design *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact Tech Project Services.

[Construction Example] Local Exhaust and Dust Collection for Lost Wax Manufacturer K Company

Dust collection and local exhaust for each manufacturing process! A case where the factory no longer has a white haze from oil mist.

At Company K, a lost-wax manufacturer, there was a challenge with the generation of oil smoke and dust during the wax mold manufacturing process. Previously, exhaust was handled by ventilation fans, but this resulted in the exhaust being released directly outside, causing external surfaces to become rusted and stained with oil smoke. To address this, we improved the environment by implementing dust collection and localized exhaust systems for each manufacturing process (both indoors and outdoors). The factory is no longer hazy with oil smoke, and by extending aluminum flexible ducts to the workers' stations, the amount of oil smoke inhaled by the workers has also decreased. 【Project Overview】 ■ Localized exhaust for oil smoke generated when bonding wax ■ Installation of dust collection equipment to separate sand and air using a cyclone for exhaust ■ Installation of dust collection equipment to filter oil smoke using a filter ■ Installation of dust collection equipment to separate iron powder and air using a cyclone for exhaust *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
